Finbarr, like Dan, I've been reading your posts and like the way you see IT moving. I think SaaS and Cloud will change the face of not only IT but also SW - It's certainly something I'm researching at the moment for an nugget of an idea of a SaaS based solution which I think could taker off in Ireland and beyond.

Keep up the excellent writting.

Finbar, been reading your articles and want to give you a big thumbs up. I'm a cork man who has made it out to France. I'm consulting for IBM here in Nice and work in the BPM (Business Process Area). I've been using the Amazon AWS for the past six months and have built images with the IBM BPM stack. In the area of private clouds, IBM have just announced a very interesting appliance called Cloudburst to help with the management of Websphere topologies on hypervisors. I'll be following what your doing. I'm preparing a cloud workshop which I'll be bringing on the road in the near future for IBM so I'm motivated to bring it to Ireland. Take care, Dan O'Riordan.
